Lots of great things were on at the hall in February! Everyone that made the Treasure Island pantomime staged by the Shipston Amateur Dramatic Society had a great time; Cotswold Events abboholics was a sell out; The Lions put on the wonderful film “Emily” on their film night; and, at the time of writing, we’re doing a roaring trade in tickets for our Tenement Jazz Band booking.
In March, watch out for The Lions film night on the 10th, our Traditional Jazz event with Tom “Spats” Langham’s Hot Fingers on the 31st, and squeaking into April, Cotswold Events with their 80’s night. “Spats” was sell-out last time we had him and his band at the hall, so don’t miss out on a fabulous night of music – tickets are £10, available from www.ticketsource.co.uk/townsend-hall, where you can bag your own table and seating, or from Clarke Electrical Services in town.
In other news, maintenance of the hall continues with the servery and the hallway getting a lovely painting spruce up, and hopefully you caught our “Did you know…” social media post about the hall – so many different kinds of events we can support with the spaces and facilities we have available. We would love to discuss your event aspirations with you, so please:

Take a look at our website for more and get ahead of the game by checking out what’s happening in April. Teaser for you: we think you’re really going to want to get tickets in the bag for the event we’ve got booked in for the 21st April!
